We recently stayed at Stone Carriage House for a family gathering and had a fantastic experience. The house was beautifully designed with romantic antique pieces and had a spacious and airy feel. The kitchen was large and well-equipped, perfect for preparing meals. The shower head with a hose was a great feature, especially when showering young kids. The location was excellent, with easy access to the town and attractions like Sandbanks and wineries. The house was clean and comfortable, with beach towels provided. We highly recommend this hotel.

    100% Recommend this hotel.

I had a great stay at Stone Carriage House! The location was perfect for exploring the town and it was just a short drive to Sandbanks Provincial Park. The indoor space was surprisingly spacious and the AC kept it wonderfully cool. I also loved the small backyard where I could relax and enjoy a barbeque. I highly recommend this property.

The location was perfect, with easy access to restaurants and shopping. The staff, particularly Susan, was lovely and provided helpful tips on local spots and restaurants.

The morning meal could be improved with additional options.

    Very good
    7.4

The house was beautifully decorated with lovely antiques. the beds were incredibly comfortable and the linen and towels were luxurious. the little back yard was a perfect spot to relax, and the garden was stunning. the location couldn't have been better, with eateries, a microbrewery, and shops just a couple of minutes' walk away.

The main floor of the house had a musty smell, and the tub/shower could be difficult to access for those with mobility issues. There also could have been more privacy blinds, especially in the main bedroom and near the main door.

Stayed at a wonderful villa that was both comfortable and well-appointed. the beds were incredibly cozy and the linen and towels provided were luxurious. the house was spacious enough for our group of four and had a delightful backyard with a lovely garden. Located just a short walk from eateries, shops, and a microbrewery, the villa's location couldn't be beat. the kitchen was well stocked, making cooking a breeze. the host, Susan, was welcoming and provided helpful information that made our trip a breeze. a top-notch rental experience that I highly recommend. Cons: Nothing to be said! 😊.

    Nice

The kitchen was beautifully decorated and had all the necessary amenities for cooking. The beds were comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. The host was friendly and provided helpful information about the area.

The claw foot bathtub was difficult to get in and out of, making it awkward to shower properly. The old furniture in the house caused several doors and drawers to stick, which made it frustrating to access certain areas.

I recently stayed at the charming and spacious Stone Carriage House in Picton for a week. The location was perfect, with shops, restaurants, and even a park just a short walk away. The owner was incredibly accommodating and allowed us access to the neighboring bathroom for a reduced fee, which was essential for our comfort. The kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked with extras like products and a dishwasher. It truly felt like a home away from home.

I would highly recommend this hotel.

I asked Susan if I could store some items in the fridge before check-in, and she went above and beyond by allowing me to check in early. The house was impeccably clean, and the kitchen table was perfect for enjoying meals and conversations. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I especially loved having access to the Sandbanks.

The location of the hotel is highly recommended, with easy access to Sobeys, Metro, and various restaurants. The house itself has a charming and comfortable atmosphere, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Guests can enjoy sitting in the garden or on the side porch for a relaxing morning coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the bathrooms are stocked with extra products such as towels.

The main floor of the house may have a musty smell upon arrival, which can leave a less-than-ideal first impression.

The house was spacious, nicely furnished, and had old charm & character. The kitchen was well equipped, organized, and clean. The location was great, with downtown restaurants nearby and convenient for touring Prince Edward County. Checking in early and the pass to Sandbanks were much appreciated.

    Can't fault anything about it.
